What About Me?

Everyone said you should go.
Everyone said you should do
Everyone said support him.
Everyone said it’s better.

Everyone was happy about it.
Everyone thinks it’s an opportunity. 
Everyone says stay.
Everyone says ‘anusam pay’.

But what if these are not for me?
That I’m just letting it through
And what if it’s getting worse? 
That my mind already thinks differently.

What about me?
Can I choose for myself too?
Can I decide without them?
Can I choose without considering others?

I’m afraid I’ll lose myself.
I’m afraid I’ll do what’s against 
I’m afraid I’ll do worse.
And I'm afraid I’ll lose and do it.

I’ve been neglecting myself
Doing what’s best for others
Jumping to what others say 
And pleasing people.

I’m not into money. 
I’m not into big things.
I’m into simple things.
I’m into giving peace.


Can I just dive in to what I want?
Leaving others' pressure
And Neglecting others' opinions
And just go through myself.
